Range of application
This engine muffler applies to the gas (oil) engine of all split-type natural gas compressors that may produce aerodynamic noise; the applicable gas (oil) engine type includes wauk-esha, caterpillar, 12V190 and 12V135 of Jinan Diesel Engine Factory. The exhaust-gas muffler for other types of engines can be separately designed according to their respective technical parameters.
Structural characteristics
The engine muffler uses the resistive – expansion chamber combination type to control the 31.5Hz~2000Hz broadband noise; its resistive part uses the nonflammable heat-resistant sound absorption material, which is designed to be installed on the muffler top and the perimeter wall of the channel for eliminating the medium and high frequency of the compressor noise. Such resistive part is composed of the resonant cavity strings with different noise-damping frequencies. The muffler uses the thick steel sheet as its exterior surface so as to prevent noise from diffusion.
